Our mechanics at the end of the world

Without them, our motorcycle tours on Royal Enfields would be impossible, or much more complicated! You already know them or you will soon meet them on the roads of the world. Here is a small overview of our guardian angels.

Thailand, Laos, Indonesia, South Africa, Rwanda

At the garage in Chiang Mai, Lek and Tom take care of our Royal Enfield fleet and set off on the roads and tracks of Thailand, as well as on our Laos motorcycle tours. Lek is our "darling", he learned very quickly the specific mechanics of the Enfields, knows how to repair everything and above all he has an easy contact with the people he meets on the road. Speaking neither French nor English but only thai, it's fascinating to see him communicate with all the riders. The garage in Bali, Indonesia is managed by Seno, a passionate mechanic who goes every summer on the road from the volcanoes to Java. With him, based in Ubud, is Olivier, a lover of beautiful machines who watches over the Royal Enfields all year round. During South Africa motorcycle tours, from Cape Town to the Kruger Park, it is Kevin who goes on the road. In Rwanda, it is Bertin, accompanied by Djumaïné, who recently took care of the first fleet of Royal Enfields in the country.

From Nepal to Mongolia

To face the Mustang's terrain, you need bikes that are always at the top of their game. It is thanks to our team based in Kathmandu that our adventure tours in Nepal are possible. If you have ever met them, Samir, Nattu or Sonu, you know that at the slightest moment of uncertainty, they jump off the support vehicle to come and help you during difficult passages or moments of adversity. In Sri Lanka, in Negombo, Dilu and Kishan learned a lot about the Royal Enfields. On the roads of Ceylon, they are able to repair all kinds of mechanical problems with great resourcefulness.
The cream of the crop: Brijesh, Azam, Atul, Sunil and Sanjay. Our Indian mechanics from the garage in Delhi have become over the years real stars at Vintage Rides! Their experience is a treasure, they are now real "Bullet Masters" and pass on their know-how to the new mechanics of the team. Only one watchword: Nothing is impossible. A breakdown in the middle of the Tibetan plateaus of Ladakh, in the Thar desert in Rajasthan or in the middle of the tea plantations of Kerala, they know how to do EVERYTHING, in EVERY circumstance. Don't forget our mechanics in Ulaanbaatar in Mongolia, Sugar, Huderee, who are the first in 2019 to have become experts on the Himalayan, our new Royal Enfield trails adapted to the steppe! Uunuu (pronounced Ono) and Gana have taken up a great mechanical challenge since 2017 by taking care of unusual machines. During the editions of the Frozen Ride, they took care of the sidecars designed by Jean Burdet and Alternativ' Sidecar, the ones that rode on Lake Khövsgöl!
