" What a wonderful discovery, riding a Himalayan, probably the ideal mount for this kind of trip, alternating the pleasures of riding between side roads and meanders that resemble the undulations of a dragon... A guide who was reassuring, mature and attentive to our needs, with a sense of humour and conviviality to boot! An exceptional welcome from the local population, a lesson in civility! I was worried that the trip would be a bit sanitized, like Thailand, and it turned out to be quite the opposite: sumptuous landscapes, incredibly smiling and friendly Vietnamese people, and a trip that was at times technical, even difficult, often away from cars because it took them through a lot of single tracks that weren't accessible to them!
