Incredible immersion in northern Laos. Beautiful, very rural, very welcoming people. Primary forest. We should be able to pick up the bikes directly in Laos. I don't think the Thailand part is useful, that's another trip. With the 2 customs crossings, outward and return, you lose almost a day.

This is my 3rd trip with Vintage Ride, and this tour of Turkey was a real surprise! It was a pure pleasure to ride in this country, which is conveniently just a few hours' flight from France. The roads are beautiful, sometimes similar to those in the Pyrenees, with beautiful landscapes, between sea and mountains. The people are friendly and welcoming. The trip was perfectly timed between driving, sightseeing and meeting the locals. A country steeped in history, and a top-notch organization!

Beyond the trip itself, the landscapes and the motorcycle adventure, this trip was a lesson in life for me, thanks to the encounters I had with local people in remote villages around the world, observing their smiles and kindness despite their living conditions. I enjoyed the trip but was disappointed by the vintage service. Poor information, which can lead to incidents and even accidents when organizing motorcycle trips. For your information, there were 2 falls in our group. The 2 falls took place on tracks, even though the trip was supposedly 100% asphalt.
