The Wonders of the Atlas Mountains
This is my first organized trip, so I left with a few preconceived ideas. I was afraid of the tourist trap, but not at all: nice roads, beautiful landscapes and above all, we were often alone in the world.

Anatolian Treasures
After an excellent lunch in a cosy family restaurant, we lounge on the sidewalk drinking hot tea. The main road through the village is lightly traveled. It's cool, but the sun warms us up. We sit on chairs around the wood-burning stove, from which a few flames emanate from below, and from above, at the end of a metal tube worn by the years, a little smoke. A small tap in the middle of this stove, which has stood the test of time, provides boiling water for tea and coffee. You're lulled by this soothing ambience, and you want nothing more than for time to stand still. We took the time, enjoyed it and shared it generously. I told myself I'd never forget this moment. It's engraved in my mind. Ayyildiz Cafe, Salda, Türkiye, Thursday, October 31, 2024. Thank you so much!
