Oases and Peaks at World’s End
Some communications with Michelle were mis leading. Main issue was in relation to having power available at accommodation and for how long. Also we were sent an email saying no power banks were permitted on flight to Leh which wasn't the case as you could take them in carry on just not checked luggage. The guides supplied for tours of Delhi and Agra seemed untrustworthy and tryed to push us into visiting all their friends shops to pressure sell items we didn't want. It would have been great to know in advance about amount of tips required to be paid and also the costs to attend each of the attractions. Also seemed questionable that most the hotels and restaurants we were taken and also the hire bikes used in Ladakh were all owned by the same person? Special mention for Nit the guide in training as he was most genuine and wouldn't even accept our tip at end of tour. He went out of his way to make our trip enjoyable.

To the Gateway of Tibet
Just rough enough to make it feel like a real adventure . Bikes are perfect for the roads encountered. We were eying the Himalayan while in Manali , but in hindsight the Bullet is bomb proof and very forgiving of a clumsy rider.

On the Trail of Genghis Khan
Mongolia was even better than expected! The freedom of riding for miles & miles off road with no fences & nothing man made except for Ger camps was truly amazing and the scenery was stunning! We loved seeing the huge number of animals roaming free - horses, yaks, sheep, goats, cattle, camels plus a variety of bird life & ground dwellers such as marmots, ground squirrels and we even saw (and photographed) the very rare Pallas’ wild cat! The accomodation in Gers every night really added to the experience & the quality & comfort of the Gers was way better than expected. The food was also way above expectations. We thought we were going to lose a few kilos on this trip - not a chance! The Himalayan’s were the absolute perfect bike for this trip & even 2 up, my wife & I both found the bike extremely comfortable. We are in our 60’s (and reasonably fit) but didn’t find the trip too demanding at all. In fact, we found it energised us & we looked forward to jumping back on the bike every day and exploring ridges & gorges when we stopped. The rest days provided a great balance of riding & relaxing (and catching up on a bit of washing, fiddling with camera equipment, etc). Lastly, the crew. Could not have wished for a better bunch of guys! From our tour leader Tuk, to drivers Dooyoo & Uuree & mechanic Tony, they all had a great sense of humour & couldn’t do enough for us. Highly recommend this tour to anyone with a sense of adventure and a love of motorcycles!

It was an adventure with most things covered. Potential pitfalls were reduced. Knowledge of the journey could be improved with feedback from prior tours.

On the Roads of Ceylon
As previously said we had a wonderful tour my only concern was the state of the support vehicle. I think it is unsafe ie. No working seatbelts. No head restraints in rear. Tatty looking wires hanging out on dashboard. That would make me think twice about booking with Vintage again. Also I believe you should have a second outrider bike. We have been on many bike tours with other companies and they usually have 3. ie the mechanic always rides. We have had riding medical staff and sometimes just a sweeper rider to ensure nobody takes a wrong turn. Although Reshad did a great job we think he should have help especially as there can be a big difference in the capabilities of riders.

On the Roads of Ceylon
my only criticism was we had one rider with nearly no motorcycle experience who as a result slowed the entire group down. Just need to make sure peoples riding experience matches the trip

On the Roads of Ceylon
The trip was all I expected, there was one rider who was a very slow inexperienced rider and I think we may have missed out on a couple of places of interest as we had run out of time.

Upper Mustang: Adventure in the Forbidden Kingdom
There were some issues with permits that caused some delays at Tatapani. Need better support from support team. Vintage office staff should each ride the routes they are promoting so they have a better understanding of the challenges and daily logistics involved.
